In These few months so much has happened, A billionaire breakup, a big Federal pentagon AI deal.

Let’s rewind a little.

Elon Musk and Donald Trump weren’t always on opposite ends of the battlefield. In fact, not long ago, Musk stood pretty close to Trump. Whether it was public praise or quiet collaboration and even donating close to 300 million for Trumps campaign, there was once alignment between the two, especially when it came to policy, business, and influence.

But then came the Trump backed “Big Beautiful Bill.” Trump’s latest mega-budget proposal was the breaking point. Musk didn’t just disapprove of it—he openly opposed it. Sources even say he changed his phone number and ghosted the Trump camp administration. From ally to adversary, fast.

But here’s where it gets interesting.

While the political ties frayed, Musk’s other machine his AI company xAI was quietly climbing. And now? It just landed a $200 million federal contract with the Pentagon. That’s right.
